Selling is a process

Like other activities, the sale is a process. Sales is a chain of other activities. If you run a series of events correctly, or if you run each step in the sales process correctly, you have a great opportunity to be able to sell it better.

Selling is a numbers game

Sales is a numbers game. In fact, sales are based on the law of averages. For many prospects, greater your chance. More customers you meet, more likely you are. The more you offer, more likely you are to closing. More happy customers you have, the greater the opportunity for you to get referrals from them. It’s just a matter of  “the more the better …”.

Selling is all about having good interpersonal communication & relationship

Sales is the problem of communication skills and build relationships. We are social beings. We make better decisions because of emotions than rational. Let’s look at the reasons for someone becoming a customer of a life insurance company:

1. 20% Because the company

2. 20% Buy because the product

3. 60% Buying for insurance agents

In conclusion, so whether or not someone buys from you is highly dependent of whether they like it or not to you, respect you, trust you, love you, feel any obligation to buy from you ( because you are so kind and helpful, he was indebted to you. He is also a good friend or your father / husband, etc.). This is because the interactions that you get up and communication problems with him personally.

Selling is all about discipline

Sales is a matter of discipline. This is the difference between success and sellers sellers who do not succeed: Successful sales people have learned to do well the things that unsuccessful sales people do not like to do.

It was no secret, successful sellers more disciplined and they keep doing the things they should do (although they did not like). On the other hand, sellers who are unsuccessful will try to find 1001 reasons to avoid the job they should be doing, because they do not like doing it. Sales is often a case of doing what you have to do, not only what you like to do.

To perform well as a seller, you should do well at every stage in the sales process. The better you are at each stage, the better your performance as a seller.
